Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar | Tulip Garden & Local Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, our driver will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Begin local sightseeing with a visit to the famous Tulip Garden, renowned for its spectacular seasonal summer bloom. Continue to the iconic Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh – and enjoy the cool summer breeze along the scenic shores of Dal Lake. Optionally, visit Shankaracharya Temple for breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar hotel. Note: It is recommended to arrive in Srinagar by 1:00-2:00 PM so all Day 1 sightseeing is comfortably covered on the same day.
Day 2: Gulmarg Day Trip | Summer Snow Experience
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Gulmarg – one of Kashmir's most celebrated hill stations, renowned for its lush green meadows and cool summer climate. Explore the scenic landscape and optionally take the world-famous Gondola Ride (Phase 2 offers snow even during summer months) at your own cost. Enjoy pony rides, photography sessions, and leisure time in the meadows. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Sonmarg Day Trip | Thajiwas Glacier & Zero Point
After breakfast, proceed to Sonmarg – the "Meadow of Gold" – a refreshing summer escape surrounded by glaciers and stunning alpine landscapes. From Sonmarg, visit the Thajiwas Glacier by pony ride (own cost), where snow activities are available even during summer months. Optionally, take the dramatic Zero Point excursion (own cost) for breathtaking high-altitude mountain scenery. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam | ABC Valleys Exploration & Overnight Stay
After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam – the "Valley of Shepherds" – known for its pine forests, rivers, and lush green meadows in summer. En route, enjoy sightseeing stops including the Pampore saffron fields, apple orchards, scenic countryside views, and an optional stop at the historic Awantipora Ruins. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, optionally explore the famous ABC Valleys – Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari – via local union vehicle at your own cost (outside vehicles not permitted). These valleys are at their best in summer with blooming meadows, Lidder River views, and fresh mountain air. Overnight stay in Pahalgam hotel.
Day 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar | Houseboat Check-In & Shikara Ride
After breakfast, check out from your Pahalgam hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into a traditional Kashmiri houseboat on Dal Lake. In the evening, enjoy a complimentary 1-hour Shikara Ride, gliding through floating gardens, lotus blooms (seasonal), and local life on the lake. Explore the vibrant floating markets and capture the magical sunset over Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar houseboat.
Day 6: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed towards Srinagar Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand for your departure as per your travel schedule. Our driver will drop you at your chosen departure point. Your memorable 5N/6D Kashmir summer journey concludes with beautiful impressions of mountains, glaciers, lakes, valleys, and the warmth of Kashmiri hospitality.
